YNpredict Core Gameplay Guide
Turn the future into tradable shares. Learn how it works, how to profit, and how funds stay secure.
1. Core Gameplay: Yes or No Only
Yes Share (Yes)
If you think an event will happen, buy Yes.
Price = probability of happening.
For example, $0.60 means 60% probability.
No Share (No)
If you think an event will not happen, buy No.
Price = probability of not happening.
For example, $0.40 means 40% probability.
How do you make money?
Method 1: Hold until settlement
- If prediction is correct: each share redeems for $1.00
- If prediction is wrong: each share becomes zero
Method 2: Swing trading
You do not need to wait for final settlement. Trade market sentiment swings by buying low and selling high.
(Example: buy at $0.60, sell at $0.80)
2. Technical Foundation: Security and Fairness
Non-custodial funds
Funds stay in your wallet or smart contracts, not in a company bank account. Settled in USDC, reducing third-party misuse risks.
Immutable on-chain records
All orders and fills are recorded on Polygon. No one can roll back, modify, or delete your trade history.
UMA decentralized arbitration
Outcome resolution is not solely decided by one company. UMA optimistic oracle with distributed voting ensures fair and transparent results.
3. Practical Example
Case: Will Bitcoin break $150,000 before the end of 2026?
Analyze and place order
Current Yes price is $0.25 (25% probability). You are bullish and spend $100 to buy 400 Yes shares.
Hold and manage position
Two months later BTC rallies and Yes rises to $0.80. You can sell now for $220 profit, or keep holding.
Final settlement
At the end of 2026, if BTC is above 150k, UMA resolves Yes as winner. Your 400 shares automatically redeem 1:1 to $400 USDC.
